Your Vision For Success…
When going into business for yourself, in order to be successful, you need to have a vision.
A vision grows from your soul and is fed by commitment and passion. It’s the end that spurs you on to achieve the short and long-term goals you made for yourself in order to reach it.
So what do you do once you have a vision? How do you commit to it?
There are several criteria you need to consider in order to keep your vision alive for however long it takes you to achieve it.
First you must feed your vision:
You need to eat every day and so does your vision need nourishment. You will visualize it every day and use tools such as photographs, a dream board or even sharing it with friends.
Just the other day, our excellent training coach had us work on our vision. Our task for the day was to share it with one other person. I chose to share my vision with 2 people that day. One was a long time friend who is my networking partner and the other was one of my very new associates.
I explained that my vision was what was keeping me motivated every day. I told her what it was and that if she was serious in building a long-term business that she also needed to identify her vision.
Next, your vision must have the right level of priority. Now if you are content with your 9 to 5 job and working only for your pension, then your vision will not have the same priority as someone who sees freedom opening up at the end of 4 to 5 years of hard work network marketing. These individuals will be active in other areas that the 9-5 person would not even think of.
Network marketing is pretty well the only home business out there that can help you achieve freedom in such a short time with very little investment.
To solidify your vision, you will develop good habits and schedule your time to pursue your business. What’s an extra 10 to 15 hours a week even if you still have a day job, when you know that the results of success will free you forever in a very short time? The couch potato will not want to attend special meetings or training seminars.
No action, no growth!
You will also be flexible as will your vision. It will change, be revised and made better many times. You may even decide that you are not asking for enough!
As a visionary, you will keep moving forward no matter what. The belief that you will succeed will be so strong that it will keep you going during tough times. The bonus here is that you are not working by yourself. You have business partners who have become friends and they will be more than ready to lift your spirits on bad days.
The very best way to keep your vision alive is to put it down in writing, sign it and date it. It will be your tangible commitment to achieving your dream that you can visit every day. It was even suggested that you get it laminated and keep it in your wallet so that you can review it often.
So in short, living is growing and to manifest your vision you will need to structure your time, list priorities and list habits you would like to improve on or develop. Reading, taking courses and insightful training are tools that facilitate this process and pretty soon you will see your vision an actual physical reality before you, but you will already have another vision to take over when that one is achieved.
How wonderful you will feel!
