What should a great network marketing leader be doing?
Leading by example, of course. What else?
Leading by example means being a doer and being a good follower all rolled up into one.
To be a good doer, a great leader needs to listen, be a friend and be someone you can count on.
A great leader will put their money where their mouth is and put action behind their words. If they should suggest that you get out there and connect with as many prospects as you can, you can bet your bottom dollar that is what they are doing too.
Without action nothing moves and a great leader did not get to be a great leader without action.
Yes, going out there can be a daunting experience. You do need to get past your comfort zone. But look at what surpassing your comfort zone can do for you. You will see it transformed into extra revenue.
It becomes easier the more you do it and the rewards also come easier.
It takes true courage and yes, not many will recognize that in you unless it is another successful network marketer that is doing the same thing or a great leader teaching you the way.
That’s why having a great leader and a team not afraid to go that extra mile can spell success for you even if you are new to the network marketing arena.
It’s all in the leader and who is leading it.

Who would have thought that “GRATITUDE” would be so important in network marketing?
Without gratitude your associates may be feeling a little used if all you do is ask of them without sometimes giving back to them.
Gratitude will unlock the fullness of your life and it will turn:
- denial into acceptance
- chaos into order
- confusion into clarity
- problem into success
- unexpectedness into perfect timing
- states into perfect events
Now I didn’t come up with those beautiful words.
They’re from my upline leader who has just reached millionaire status today and she was expressing her gratitude to us for being there for her. Happiness is directly connected to the flow of the heart and although it may show our vulnerability, it also strenghtens us as individuals.
This is the kind of team I belong to.
So don’t forget to show your gratitude to those that are part of your networking family. It’s through gratitude that you will knit your team into a close group that is caring, generous and long lasting.

John Gray of “Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus” personally sponsored Rhonda Collier into my business opportunity and she had some really good tips when it came to team work.
T: Together: Connecting with people and gathering the right minded people takes time . You must be ready to listen to their needs and discover the person’s greatness, that is why we share our story together as a team so that this person can identify with others who have gone through the same thing.
E: Everyone: Everyone needs your product but not everyone may be open to the opportunity. That is why followups are so important because you are supporting this person in their endeavor and using the team to further give support.
A: Achieves: You are not in business by yourself. There are others who have your interests at heart because if you succeed it helps them succeed. It is always about helping others get to where they want to go as it is for your up-line to help you get where you want to go.
Tools such as 3-way calls and training ensure that the team is doing similar challenges so all are on the same page, ie dupllication.
M: More: This is where leverage is really clear. As your team achieves more, the hours and time you have invested in doing your part the right way also gets multiplied by the others on your team doing the same actions as you.
More actions = more revenue back to you.
Everybody wins!
And don’t forget to have fun. Do things you love to do and get together for events whether it’s a barbecue or a company event. This keeps your team awake and vibrant. Offer incentives and challenges.
We all want a lifestyle of freedom, health, support and greatness. Using your team and being part of a team with this ideal will certainly get you where you want.
