Why Listening To Mark Hoverson Is Good For Business

Written by Marie on Mar 15th, 2010 | Filed under: All Posts, Training

Those that end up making the big money didn’t get there overnight.  That’s why when people like Mark Hoverson want to share their most enlightened moments with us that led to him becoming a figure 7 earner, one tends to stop and listen.

A Leader No Longer In Training

I don’t know about you, but when I worked for someone else, my time was no longer my time.  The boss set the pace and ruled what had to be done. Now I can understand that when you are running a business, you want results.  But with a home based business, there is no boss except you.  You have to decide what gets done and when.

That’s why discipline is so important.  To succeed you have to schedule your time. And in network marketing your time does not have to mean a time for you to cold call or approach every person within 3 feet to get your business rolling.

That style of networking turns my stomach and deepens the furrow I already have above my left eye. Mark felt the same way and that’s why he decided to create his own leads, first by using traditional means like USA Today and then, when the light bulb went off, by Internet.

At that point, Mark was very new to internet marketing, only being able to use email. But perseverance took him through a huge learning curve which soon had him uploading websites and making videos for Youtube.  He never gave up.  A lot of new online marketers give up when they don’t see results happening as fast as they want. Often, they are just inches away from success.

Mark emphasizes the importance of choosing a product that is in demand. For Mark, travel was hot and once he understood the payplan, realized that people needed to know everything he knew. That realization created a great source of revenue for Mark while  he taught others to do what he did, no holds barred.

Mark’s last important insight involves live networking events where not only do team members get to connect face to face with him but more importantly get to connect with each other to develop a sense of community.  It also gave Mark the opportunity to play his role as a mentor and guide.

That’s why he emphasizes the importance of spending a minimum of 15 minutes to 30 minutes doing 1 –on-1 with new members of his team to scrutinize their belief system, question their thought about marketing, prod them on to give a smarter effort and  challenge them to become the best they can be.

This formula for success is simple but effective and since it has taken Mark from the edge of poverty to 7 figures in a very short time, not one to ignore.

Now we may not all have Mark’s drive or need to succeed but just being persistent and consistent will yield results which can easily turn into extra 0’s on your next bonus cheque.

Recession Wave Engulfs Country: Video

Written by Marie on Dec 4th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts, Motivational Leadership

Click on the image and go watch how fast this recession is leaving many families wanting.  Then after you’ve watched it, come back here and continue reading about how you can avoid being one of the numbers shown here.

Growing fast

Growing fast

This wave seems like it’s enveloping the country without anything at hand to stop its progress.

The big question is, what can you do to stop it?

The first step is know how to SELL. OK so you don’t like selling, well you better learn. I’m not talking about selling door to door either.

It’s all about being able to use words, the right kind of words and at the right time with the right message.

I’m talking about selling through mass media like the web and email.

As your second step, join a network marketing company so you can have something to sell that you believe in.

Most successful online marketers are successful because they know what triggers to push by using words that will  do the job for them.

It’s really not hard to do but you have to have a place to learn from and a teacher or teachers you trust.

If you had training that could shorten your learning curve, you’d be way ahead of the pack.

Well you can be when you can take lessons from a master.

The Copywriter’s Guild program can do just that and at the moment it is discounted by 33%.  It has taught Mike Dillard, after all, to be a copywriting dynamo.

And because I don’t believe in pounding doors when network marketing, you would also be able to learn how the face of network marketing has changed and how to do it without rejection.

Learning how to write is a mandatory step that  can do that for you too.  Go check it out for yourself. http://marieleo.thecopywritersguild.com

Many online business entrepreneurs sometimes get stuck as to how they can improve their profits.

  • So you want backlinks, right? At least that’s what your online training has shown you must do in order to get traffic toy our site. Well, why not offer to write articles exclusively for one site in exchange for a link back to your site? A win win situation.
  • Work extra hard at keeping your customer service in good standing order by keeping in touch on a personal note or even send them a postcard. Snail mail is often overlooked but is an excellent tool and makes your customer feel appreciated with the personal touch.
  • Run surveys often and ask your customers what they would like to see. A great free tool to do just that is SurveyBob. It’s versatile and has many bells and whistles you would pay for with other online survey tool suppliers.
  • Review your site for navigation ease. Often, we build and build without thought of how hard or easy it is go get around. So act like a customer and go visit your site.  Jot down what needs to be tweaked. If all if great, then kudos to you.
  • Just because your site is up doesn’t mean that nothing changes.  If you have freebies, then change them every once in a while or otherwise, if someone visits your page more than once and a long period of time has expired and the same things is still there, they will sense that not much new info has been added and that this site is neglected. And it may not be neglected but you have to show it by changing some things around.  Send out a notice to your list about the new freebie and keep your visitors happy so they will want to come back.

Cool Tool To Zero In On Twitter Account..

Written by Marie on May 26th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts

Ever wonder how you could be targeting your Twitter followers more effectively?

Well there is a really cool tool that can be a great help to do just that.

You may be guilty of having followed a lot of people, at first, who were not really focused on what you wanted to promote. This tool solves that problem.

It’s called Twitterfall.

How does this tool work?

Once you have logged into your Twitter account from the Twitterfall page, you put in a term you are searching for.  Let’s say you are looking to follow people that do “dog training”.  As soon as you have checked the box next to the term, Twitterfall will start to retrieve people who are talking about dog training in their tweets.

If you wish to see how many people the person is following, all you have to do is hover over their tweetname.  It will tell you how many they are following and how many are following them.

This is a great tool to really target your followers and a great idea is to have more than one account with each one targeting a specific niche you are specializing in.

You can even color code your searches and have several searches going on at the same time. As the system loads each term, you will have each person’s tweets color coded to the term’s search color.

You also have the ability to “follow” that person from right there without going to their Twitter profile page.

Twitterfall is a really great tool and spending some time there every week could very well build you a really targeted list of followers that should position you in a favorable light if you take the time to give value.

Retweeting this message would be appreciated.

Network Marketing Is NOT All About “Duplication”..

Written by Marie on May 20th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts, Motivational Leadership, Training

I love Mike Klingler. His articles always make me think.

In his latest post, Mike talked about duplication and how network marketing companies stress duplication to their business builders.

Yes, duplication is important, but as Mike says, is duplication what makes a six figure income earner or is there something else going on in the background that is not so evident?

He explains it as “influence”. People can’t respond to a system but they do respond to a person’s attitude, leadership qualities, confidence and positive mindset.

Learning how to use a system is easy, but developing our “Influence Factor” is important when marketing any business but crucial, especially for online marketing.

To attract others you have to have something about you that is seen as attractive in the first place. It’s not all about the money. This part actually becomes easy once your “Influence Factor” has reached a wider audience.

A good example is how Ann Sieg and Mike Klingler, on their own, had built their influence factor into a successful business filled with members. But look at how much wider they have spread their reach by combining actions towards a single goal.
It’s by taking time to build a solid foundation erected on business principles and collaborative strategies that they have built a marketing funnel reaching tens of thousands.

But they did not get to where they are overnight. They first started to build their “Influence Factor”.

How?

They didn’t allow other people to sabotage their efforts and kept a positive mindset by continuously striving to better themselves learning more and more about their business and what was really important to the consumer.

Mike takes the development of our “Influence Factor” to another level. He stresses the importance of learning less obvious and even more powerful skills and insights and how to apply them.

He rates collaborating and partnership or Joint Ventures right up there with understanding your business processes intimately. In order to know your business, you must be able to assess its viability and long-term objectives. Using help from others and building teams that focus on the same goals are also crucial steps. Don’t forget market research to find what problems you can solve for your prospects.

As you build a solid foundation with great content and apply skilled copy writing to your work, you will be leading with value and closing the sale in one shot.

These skills have to be learned just as Mike and Ann had to learn them and Renegade University is the first FREE step, one can take. And as you grow your skills, an upgrade to Renegade Professional is a natural progression. This part of the training has helped me dot the I’s and mark the T’s.

But from what I can see, the ultimate in learning the deeper concepts of marketing as it relates to partnerships, JVs and collaborations is found in Renegade Breakthrough.

Mike says we will learn a new language and view the world from a different perspective as we perceive our place in the big picture and become BIGGER and BETTER at attracting without trying.

Let’s get back to duplication for a moment. It is being taught in all network marketing companies and professed as the single most important skill one can learn. But if you consider the “influence”a very successful networker has, it’s easy to see how the “Influence Factor” is the most important factor to consider and the true reason for some earning more than others.

Develop you and grow your influence as your learning curve grows because in the end, what you are developing is actually your “Influence Factor”, which no system, no matter how complete, can duplicate.

What Does Warren Buffet Know That You Dont Know?

Written by Marie on May 15th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts

First of all, Warren Buffet is a world famous billionaire stock expert.  In 2002, he acquired Pampered Chef.

What is Pampered Chef?  It is a “Network Marketing Company”.

Why would such a successful billionaire do such a thing?

Because, in his own words, “It’s the best investment I’ve ever made.”

Mr Buffet didn’t stop there, he bought almost a dozen network marketing companies in 2006 alone.

What does he know that we don’t know?

  • anyone can afford to start their own business in Network Marketing but not everyone can afford a share in his company.
  • anyone can build their business over some years to become a world-class organization
  • conventional advertising has numbed the consumer to marketing and respond much better to another live human being
  • other financial tycoons such as Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Paul Zane Pilzer and even Richard Branson also support Network Marketing.

Every day, about 70,000 people around the work start a business in Network Marketing.

So what are you doing to tap into this phenomena?

What to do to position yourself for profit even if you are not in Network Marketing:

  1. Learn the 5 essential criteria needed before choosing a Network Marketing company
  2. Compare your choices, evaluate and use these 3 tips for Network Marketing success.
  3. Have a team leader able to guide you through new school Network Marketing.
  4. Never stop learning and growing and keep a millionaire mindset.

With a few dollars, perseverance and consistency will lead you to the life you always dreamed should be yours.

Are Your Search Rankings Dead? Maybe It’s Because..

Written by Marie on Apr 10th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts, Training

title tagsSo you are one of the new breed of network marketers who actually use the internet to market online.

Bravo!

You have landing pages in place, you may have a blog or even a website.  But you’ve been wondering why you’re not ranking higher in the search engines.

Maybe it’s because you have been applying certain outdated techniques that are actually costing you that ranking or you are not doing things the right way.

I will start by giving you the very first tip on how to correct this problem. These are things I have had to learn.

A title tag tells the engines what your page is all about and it also appears in search results as well as in the browser space at the top.

So this is DEFINITELY where you should put your best keywords!

But we routinely see site owners making pretty basic errors with their title tags, costing them good rankings, and sometimes, even their credibility.

It is very important that you tag the title properly.

a. No tag?

Visitors will see “untitled document” in the search results, and the top of the browser, which makes you look unprofessional. No one will be looking for an untitled document.

b. Bad idea to use your URL as the title

Even if your url contains your business name, the product category and the name of the product, this won’t help your rankings.

What you have to remember is that your title tags are for Keywords.

c. Greeting the visitor instead of a keyword-rich title

Hey, don’t get me wrong.  Saying “hi” to a new visitor is great but that works only if you are actually greeting a real person.

A title tag is not the place for that.  Will someone search for a welcome message?

d. Using only single words in the title tag

Like anything, stuffing your title tag with single words will also not work. Use keywords in a phrase of about 70 characters  to describe and present your page at a glance.

Don’t know where your title tag is?

It’s easy to find and easy to change in your HTML code.  Just switch to HTML view in your webpage software, such as Microsoft Frontpage. Near the top of the page, between your “head” tags that look like this <head>, you will find the title tags:

<title>Network Marketing:-Proven Marketing Tips & Strategies</title>

In my next post, I will present the second most responsible error made my online marketers that cost them good search engine results.

Legitimately Sneaking Past Lead Generation

Written by Marie on Mar 30th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation, Training

Without leads, you’re dead in the water.

That’s why you are asking for referrals from clients as well as others who have no interest in your product.

But you hate it?  So do I!

That’s why using a proven system that will generate leads that come to me really makes my day.

If you intend to build a business based on residual income, there’s no getting away from it.

A system is not shy. A system doesn’t sleep.  A system pushes beyond human failings. A system has no comfort zone. I like that one.

I grant you some people can do network marketing the old way and make it look easy. And yes you can learn how to do network marketing that way too because it is skill that will help you to succeed.

But there is a time and place where you can apply the skill you need and that’s to connect with your prospects once they are already in the pipeline.

If you really want your business to grow and hate the traditional methods and know that there is a better way, then using a proven system is a must.

However your system must also grow.  If the one you are using or looking to follow does not keep up with the times then consider switching to one that does.

That’s what I like with my system.  It is constantly changing and growing, teaching me new tactics to be more web worthy and to grow my business with integrity and steadiness.

It’s great to have the desire, but the desire fueled by a step by step system to teach you the right way is dynamite.
