The Most Widespread Prospecting Errors Used By Network Marketers on Social Media

Written by Marie on Feb 19th, 2012 | Filed under: Internet Marketing

First of all I wish to share my ideas on a couple of things that I feel are very important. If you really feel you already know it all about marketing on Myspace it is advisable you read no further into this message than this paragraph.

Here are a  a couple of of the pros and cons to marketing utilizing social networking web sites such as Myspace and Facebook.

Of course we all already know what all the pros are...

You now have the flexibility to instantly communicate with other like minded folks worldwide on the push of a button. A savvy marketer can do things as we speak when it comes to reaching individuals by way of social networks at a pace that was thought of unrealistic for the average person simply 15 years ago.

– But Wait –

All that is  positively  superb but what’s the flip sidet?

MySpace is certainly an amazing place to really network with different like minded people with similar targets and interests. Nevertheless have you ever observed that a good majority of people that are a part of the business teams listed on Myspace both have something they are promoting or making an attempt to promote?

Now don’t take this wrong,  that’s definitely not a bad thing. But please note  that  a few very sensible multi-millionaire Network Marketing mentors are all doing the same thing.

They are separating themselves from the crowd by finding a solution that appeals to pre-qualified focused prospects as an alternative to merely approaching individuals like everybody else.

Think about it…

Everybody thinks they have the “finest alternative in town”

One of the best thing since slice bread or the “be-all and end-all” and naturally they’re selling it to earn money.

The important thing is to come off as a marketer instead of a desperate salesperson, because lets face it as individuals , we all love to buy however we hate to be offered PERIOD!

Have you ever heard the outdated saying that “A Man Convinced Towards His Will is of The Similar opinion Nonetheless?”

Maybe YOU have and it’s sooo TRUE!

In case this applies to whether you have a  MySpace web page or some other social site page.  If you are selling yourself rather than a product you’ll make better headway and attract more people than the person who are pitching their business opportunity with messages such as….

“Hey Gerry…XYZ firm is launching this Saturday and also you have got to be the first one to affix to make large cash online. Go to my website at .blah.com

Or how about…

“Whats up it seems like you and I’ve a few things in common and so I thought you may be fascinated by looking at my company. My firm is superb and is the very best home-based business on the planet!

Come see for your self how great it is…”

These are typical messages from people desperate to sell their business. Yet they don’t know a thing about you and immediately they are shoving their alternative in your face.

Can I no less than get a “How are ya?” (Smile)

– BIG MISTAKE — What most of these folks do not realize is that their prospecting method is very much like pitching offline to every person they meet on the street.

Right out the gate with this method you’ll turn people off.

Now why is this such a Huge No No?

Because you come across as too NEEDY instead of being  concerned about them.

The fact is Network Marketing is about people and how they can grow in their lives at the same time growing their monthly income to help their family.

Individuals are drawn to assured leaders that care about them.

It’s human nature…

To really be successful in networking on MySpace or any other social media site, it’s a must to build relationships with people .

RULE 1 keep in mind in the case of attracting targeted prospects in Networking Marketing, all persons are tuned into their favorite station called WIFI FM radio which stands for “What’s in for me?” That is a harsh actuality but it surely REAL!

The perfect approach is to grow to be a fisherman as an alternative of being a hunter.

Let’s face it here is the truth of the matter…

There are a lot of scams and bad offers out there which turn people away from even considering a legitimate network marketing opportunity.

–Can You blame them? –

Bottom line, it’s all in building a relationship  with people. The rest will come through nurturing others.  It takes time to learn the ropes and why not learn them from someone who knows the way?

Where Are You Looking For Prospects?..

Written by Marie on Jan 7th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation, Training

It’s understood that if you start network marketing you need prospects to talk to.  But if you’re brand new to the game, where do you look for these prospects?

There are 4 main areas to check out first:

  • The people closest to you fit in your hot market.  These people you don’t have to chase because they know you and will help you out in any way they can.
  • Now the people you are close to but who also care about you and see a little less frequently fit in your warm market category.
  • Now your luke-warm market is made of professional and social contacts and see occasionally.  They are a great source for referrals.
  • What’s left fits in the cold market category filled with people you don’t know.  This is not a category I like very much, in fact I try to avoid it at all costs.

In order to avoid cold calls and constantly bugging family and friends I have found that attracting leads to me is the simpler method to follow.  I’ve plugged into a system that shows me how to do exactly that and there is even FREE training available for those that wish to go this route.

I’m now finding life a lot easier and less stressful!

5 Essential Prospect Closing Rules..

Written by Marie on Nov 28th, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation, Training

Asking for the order is a gradual process and for you to be successful, you need to follow certain steps that will naturally bring the conclusion to a yes decision.

Most times closing is not done correctly but these 5 rules, if followed will help you to close properly:

  1. You have to move past the word close and move up to a higher perspective of what it really is.  Closing is not done as effectively as it should by most people.  People resist it subconsciously.  But what if you were in the business of collecting decisions?  Already there has been a shift.  So in your mind it’s really a matter of getting the decision.
  2. Never close or go after the decision too early.  You have to give your prospect time to connect to you and feel comfortable in the process of conversation.  If you rush your prospect into a decision, it may not be what you want to hear.  I had a prospect that during my ignorance on fire stage, I innocently pressured into buying my product.  Well, it was a total disaster.  My prospect did not get the benefits I  hoped for and my hope for future follow ups were dashed.  Take your time!
  3. But don’t take too much time.  All right.  I’m telling you to slow down but now I’m telling you to not go too slow.  You must strike while the iron is still hot so that your prospect doesn’t cool off and become a lost prospect.  That’s why getting back to the prospect within 48 hours is  so crucial.  You are not forcing them in any way but you are impressing upon them that you are serious about your offer and you at least need an answer of some kind from them.  It’s not something they can put on the back burner and forget about.  This is important to you if not to them.
  4. Zero pressure. You don’t want to pressure your prospect and then come across as desperate and amateurish.  Tell them “I only want is what is best for you and your family and whatever decision you make is alright”
  5. Care about the person not the results.  Don’t be too emotionally attached to the results.  You are not in charge of the results, but you can get better at getting the decisions.  That’s where excellent training will make the difference.  Role playing is especially important here. Once you get an answer from your prospect you then look at the next name and call them because you are looking for someone that is ready now, for your products and for your business.  Keep focused on getting the decision that is right for the prospect.  All you worry about is who to call next.

All I have to remember is that I’m only 2 persons away from achieving untold success.
