Network Marketing Strategies & Tips For Best Results

Biggest Mistake Made In Network Marketing

Written by Marie on Nov 19th, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts

I just recently listened to an audio about this topic and it certainly opened my eyes.

It seems amazing that so many network marketers fall for this mistake and it is the single biggest cause for failure in this business.

Before I tell you  what it is, these next points are responsible for the final action which causes so many to fail:

1. You never knew your friends and family could be so unsupportive and negative. This can be disappointing to many of us when we are not supported especially by our family and friends.

That’s because they just don’t get it.  Network marketing  is not a 9 to 5 job and the concept of achieving greatness this way just isn’t in most people’s vocabulary.  So get used to swimming against the flow if you want to stay on course to fulfill your dreams.

2.  A second contributor  has to do with your desire to see your family and friends have all that they desire.

However, you find out that they have already given up on doing something great with their lives.  They make excuses for what they don’t have and don’t do and put you down for trying to better yourself.  This can be very disappointing and disheartening.

3.  The world is actually more focused in getting through the week instead of giving whatever it takes daily to get the week to give to you what you want.

Getting through the week is a great pass time for most but if you have a great talent and are not using it then you are ending with a life that you don’t really want in the first place.

That deceptive thinking is what brings you to the biggest mistake made in network marketing.

Thinking that being average and mediocre in life is the way it is supposed to be and even though you gave network marketing your best shot, you return to your average and mediocre life because that’s the way it’s supposed to be.

You need and should be living an extraordinary life. Supposed to be is not factual and not truth.

Supposed to be is according to whom?

These words have caused so many people to give up on their dreams and that is NOT how it’s supposed to be for you, maybe for someone else, but NOT for you.

Never give in give up or give out, instead give MORE.

More belief, more action, more determination, more time.

Give more time and listen only to those who have walked where you want to go.  These folks can teach you what you need to know, not teach the need of NO.

Don’t make the biggest mistake in network marketing and propose to be the way you want to be.

Create your future and move from the mediocre world of suppose to the extraordinary world of propose.  All millionaires in the world today did just that.

Falling prey to how it is supposed to be just doesn’t cut it and having superior trainers that understand and know these pitfalls can make or break you.

Who’s The Winner? Belief Over Motivation?

Written by Marie on Sep 3rd, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts

You’ve gotta believe to make it big!

You mean to tell me that all I need is to really believe that my business will be successful and it will be?

I don’t think so.

Don’t get me wrong, believing in yourself is important but you don’t need a dream board to make that $40,000 per year at your day job, do you? Of course not!

It boils down to the tools you are using to be successful. You don’t use a shovel to dig a foundation, you get the backhoe. Well network marketing works on the same principle.

You need a system other than just word of mouth.

The right tools will bring you consistent, steady progress. Motivation will be the side-effect of a good marketing strategy.

Would not talking to highly qualified prospects every day be a good motivator?

But motivation hides behind shyness or lack of self-esteem when you have to personally go out there and find a prospect that would be interested in your offer.

Staring at your vision board or reading your goal statement to remind you of why you are doing this in the first place can get tedious.

It’s when you stop worrying about belief and apply yourself to learning about how to market your business that you will find the people you want for your business, because they will be searching you out and not the other way around.

Motivation Isn’t The Solution. It’s A Copout.

That’s what your upline will tell you when you get discouraged and are looking for answers. They just don’t know what else to say.

Instead they should be asking you what type of marketing strategy have you implemented. If they taught you how then this should never be an issue in the first place.

You cannot do without a good marketing system.

Internal drive will get you where you want and it’s the real results that will motivate you.

Taking Action And Staying Motivated…

Written by Marie on Jul 30th, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts

Ok, so you have a vision. You’ve set goals. You’ve made a business plan. Now what?

You have to take action and stay committed to your goals. But” you say, “how do I stay motivated?”

It goes like this. All of it stems from your vision. Don’t get vision confused with goals. They are 2 different things.

Your vision is where you want to go vs your goals which can be short tem or long term.

Goals will help you get to your vision.

Now you may have a short term goal, let’s say you want to lose 5 pounds. Once you’ve reached it, that goal is done. That is short term. You feel the satisfaction of having accomplished this task.

Reaching your vision is really made up of a lot of short term goals along the way.

But you can’t get there only doing short-term goals, you also need long term goals.

They are directly linked to your vision so that your vision will be what will spur you on and inspire you, excite you to keep on going.

Self Motivation stems from your vision and can have external factors, meaning outside of yourself such as what happens to your life naturally: taking lessons, reading inspirational writings, seeing others succeed etc.

Self motivation must also have internal factors which ensure your vision motives will be so strong as to take you through the hard times. Times when everything you’re doing doesn’t seem to get you anywhere.

Maybe you need to re-evaluate the method you are using or maybe it’s just a question of timing. Sitting down and really meditating over this will give you a clue either way.

What keeps me motivated is my faith that what I am working at will give me the results I am after. I am focused on “abundance” not “lack”.

I see the finished vision and what I do daily are the steps I need to take to get me there.

In the mean time, I set goals that will get me closer to my vision and once I’ve reached those goals, I set new ones.

Setting daily goals is easy and each little step shows the Universe that I am serious about what I am doing and where I want to go.

It’s hard for many people to believe that the Universe is only waiting for us to ask for what we want before IT gives us exactly what we want.

You’ve heard “beware of what you want, or you might just get it”. Well this stands especially true with a vision that is based in helping others be the most that they can be.

It seems that the Universe is just tripping over itself when it comes to helping you help others gets what they want.

So staying motivated for me is not difficult. I read inspiring works, I do daily affirmations, set short and long term goals and keep my vision alive while giving thanks with a grateful heart for all that I have already.

I also work with like minded people who support my belief system. These people are positive thinkers who empower me.

Are those the kind of people you have around you? Are they the kind of people your networking business is filled with? If not, then you must consider changing your environment or the wrong people around you can eventually bring you down to their level and you will only experience dissatisfaction and little success.

Do these words resonate well with you? Finding like minded people is really not that hard because who you are is really who you will attract. The Law of Attraction makes it so!

Motivation Equals Sizzle

Written by Marie on Jun 9th, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts, Keeping Constant

To keep your organization sizzling with interest, you must keep positive people around and involve your associates in the process.

This is all part of your training. You will:

  1. be role playing,
  2. be introducing the business to new prospect
  3. be holding product training sessions
  4. be giving home parties
  5. be holding weekly pre-determined conference calls
  6. be attending company training

But most importantly you will be keeping a constant temperature in your business with

    • no hype
    • no highs
    • no lows

Your presence will motivate others and how you act will set the tone at all times.
