Using Leverage Wisely…

Written by Marie on Sep 12th, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts, Training

Being in network marketing is simple but when it comes to applying what we learn, there is a learning curve involved especially when understanding and learning how to use leverage.

We know that we will be leveraging other people’s time and efforts to benefit us and others in our team.  But how do you really do that effectively?

First of all, this is a business in which you are not alone. If your team is a great one, there will be daily training calls, weekly calls and even corporate calls to tap into.

It’s easy as one two three.

Just invite one person on a call each day.  This way they will be getting the training they need and you will have more time to prospect rather than be tied down with training calls to your team.  This is leveraging at its most simple.

The advantages of doing this are really clear.

Your associate will get the right training and tips they need to be successful, in the same manner you did yourself.  It is duplicable and offers flexilbity.

Using the 3-way call is another under-rated tool.

The more you learn to use the 3-way call, the more your business will explode.  Use it even with someone that is not interested in doing the business.  It will offer comfort to the product users and expose them to other people’s stories.

Remember that it is the story that sells.

If you are not comfortable with 3-way calling yet, then practice using the 24/7 replay line.  Just ask your prospect to listen to the message that you go and get for them.

What could be simpler?

It all boils down to you working in an environment that provides superior training that will allow all associates to be as successful as they wish depending on the energy they give their business.

No matter what, it is a recipe for success!

Understanding Business Ownership vs Self-Employment…

Written by Marie on Aug 15th, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts, Training

Most likely, if you are still employed, you fit under the business ownership employee section. Someone else owns the business and you exchange your time for money.

If you were self-employed, you’d actually work for yourself, by yourself. You may trade your hours for money or work for a fee or a commission. What income you generate is pretty well dependent on you doing the work and getting paid for it.

Now grant you, you don’t have the headaches of employees or have to worry about paying out unemployment taxes or insurance, but you may also not have any benefits unless you are paying them already to an independent source.

A business owner will hire people so he doesn’t have to do the work while working on making his business larger. Being self-employed will not give you that luxury.

Hiring someone to do the work is called leverage. Leveraging is very powerful and having an internet business really can be the best leveraging tool to have. Leveraging will give the business owner more freedom and more wealth.

Now as a self- employed individual, you can take advantage of leverage.

However, to really achieve goals such as never working again in your life, you will need to be a business owner. Any situation can be turned to business ownership, even one the internet. Especially one on the internet!

You will have systems in place that will work for you 24/7, whether you are there or not. Depending on what you are doing, you can actually hire others to ie: write articles, host your sites, invest your earnings, build your website…, be a self-employed business owner.

The best business model is one that combines both the business owner and the self-employed model. It really isn’t hard if you learn how to do it right from the start and there are countless sources from which you can learn.
