Smart Beginner Network Marketing Strategies

Why Use Internet Article Marketing?

Written by Marie on Jul 22nd, 2010 | Filed under: All Posts

Why Use Internet Article Marketing? Internet marketing is an art. Planning strategy and building momentum for a business is exhilarating, challenging and fun.

Admin:  Article marketing can be a pain if you are not a good writer but it is one of the best ways to get constant traffic that generates leads for you 24-7.

Because of the nature of the beast, internet marketers tend to look for the strategies and techniques which have the potential of yielding the most immediate results.

While PPC is undeniably the technique with the highest potential for yielding fast, almost immediate results, if you are one of the many internet marketers who refuse to give article marketing a fair try, you are missing out on a highly effective, and incredibly powerful tool.

Here’s why you should use article marketing as part of your marketing strategy.

Cost – Article marketing is free! Yes, there are some paid services that will aid in the distribution and syndication of your articles, but, for those willing to take the time to post the articles themselves, article marketing is a 100% no-cost advertising solution.

Longevity – Once an article is posted within an article directory, it is not removed, unless it is found to be inappropriate or considered “spam.” So, an article written within the guidelines of the submission sites, could bring traffic to your site, and potentially sales, even years after its initial publication.

Ranking – Placing your article in high ranking directories can get you ranked on the first page of the search engines’ organic listings within a matter of hours, if you do your keyword research properly. Not only that, but backlinks from these high-traffic directories back to your site placed within your articles can also build your site’s ranking.

Branding – If you make it a point to write articles which provide valuable content related to your niche, or which is pertinent to your target audience, your name and your company will begin to be directly linked to the keywords and content you target. So, in essence, you are building your brand as you become better known for your highly useful submissions.

Now, we have just scratched the surface here. But, the answer to the question, why use internet article marketing should be pretty clear by now. You owe it to yourself to go out and try just a couple articles and see what happens!

RSS Feeds – Syndication – Link Generation!

Written by Marie on May 18th, 2010 | Filed under: All Posts

Most internet users don’t understand all the acronyms used in the technical side of the internet such as RSS, Atom, HTTP, HTML, XML and the list goes on and on.

If you’re into just browsing on the internet, or maybe even internet marketing, you really don’t have to know all the technical aspects of these terms and how they got started or how they work. The main thing in internet marketing is to understand and learn the process of marketing and which of these various features can be blended into a powerful marketing system to promote your business opportunity.

Knowing all the technical aspects of the internet, will not make you any money, unless you work for a major player in the marketplace like Google or one of the other search engines. Money is made online, by using the different tools of marketing that someone else has designed, tested and perfected for the use of internet marketers, just like you and I.

An excellent way to get your information distributed to a large audience of potential clients is with RSS feeds and syndication.

Syndication will expose your website to many different types of online services, that otherwise you would not be able to penetrate their hierarchy by yourself. This is a free, and easy advertising method of marketing, particularly if you’re a bit tight on cash.

It’s getting more difficult to get personal information of individuals who you can market to online. However, by syndicating a website and providing an RSS feed the user can get the information anonymously, and you have accomplished your goal of getting your information in front of more users. Hopefully the users will use the information you’ve provided to make an informed choice and eventually purchase your product or services.

This concept goes back to the late 90′s and has been used by professional marketing companies and SEO services for a number of years. This type of marketing works, and is extremely powerful; however, because of the complicity of the internet, webmasters have not used this powerful approach in their marketing efforts. Many sites have not been optimized for maximum online effectiveness and as a result many websites have never produced a nickel of income for the website owner.

In today’s market there are many different types of businesses who use syndication methods very effectively.

Newspapers, television shows, talk radio, publishers etc., all share information about their business opportunity using some form of syndication. They use multiple marketing venues for this part of their promotion strategies using such tools as blogs, forums, news feeds and many other methods of service that are to lengthy to discuss in this article.

By using the methods discussed above, the person or business can expand their user audience to millions of users that otherwise could not be reached with any other forms of promotional method. In TV programming, syndication accounts for a fair share of the market. It has been said that “Syndication is where the real money is” in television.

The following is a quote from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, explaining some category differences regarding syndication:

Commercial web syndication can be categorized in three ways:

• by business models
• by types of content
• by methods for selecting distribution partners

Commercial web syndication involves partnerships between content producers and distribution outlets. There are different structures of partnership agreements. One such structure is licensing content, in which distribution partners pay a fee to the content creators for the right to publish the content. Another structure is ad-supported content, in which publishers share revenues derived from advertising on syndicated content with that content’s producer. A third structure is free, or barter syndication, in which no currency changes hands between publishers and content producers. This requires the content producers to generate revenue from another source, such as embedded advertising or subscriptions. Alternatively, they could distribute content without remuneration. Typically, those who create and distribute content for free are promotional entities, vanity publishers or government entities.”

The two types of syndication feeds used by most marketers in todays market are RSS and Atom. If you don’t understand everything you need to know about feeds, then visit your favorite search engine and do some serious research. This article today, covers a limited amount of information about feeds, RSS, Atom and syndication that should help promote your business opportunity more effectively.

The Proven Secrets of Mobile Marketing Strategies

Written by Marie on May 11th, 2010 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation

In the fast changing world, preferences of people change as well. This is the very reason why business people turn to more productive marketing strategies that can make them more profits. As you can see now, marketing methods increase due to the fact that our technology gets better as time goes by.

Since more and more people acquire mobile phones to use for personal or for business, mobile marketing is introduced to business people who are looking for more lucrative way of marketing their products or services.

In this regard, a market or a business owner should always consider the right mobile marketing strategies so as not to be wasting your time marketing your product.

To give you brief details on how to effectively market your product or service via mobile, here are the proven secrets;

Promotional call method – This is more on direct calling by marketers to prospective clients and the existing clients. This method is applied by calling the prospective clients and discusses the product or service being offered. A good seller always uses the effective and good sales pitch.

MSM messages – This is one of the mobile marketing strategies that is used as an alternative mobile marketing wherein marketers send messages to a group number of prospective clients. Those who need the company’s products or services might then get in touch with the sender of the message. There’s also a disadvantage on this method. It’s annoying on the side of the recipient if the marketer sends in messages more often that may lead to undesirable situations. The recipient or your prospective client might block numbers and only allow those that are on his lists.

If one doesn’t want to be disturbed at all, notify the company by letting them know. The company must consider the ones that they should get in touch with and those that aren’t so as not to end up suing them.

Mobile marketing is highly recommended to entrepreneurs from small to big businesses worldwide, since this is one of the most effective ways to market your offers.

Make Your Freebies Look Expensive

Written by Marie on Apr 5th, 2010 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation

Giving away something for Free has become the norm in order to attract people to your site. But there is a huge drawback resulting from  this giveaway tactic.

It’s losing it’s perceived value.

Every Tom, Dick and Harriet is bombarding you with free offers of some kind in order to capture your contact information.  So where does this leave you?  After all you’re after the same thing, leads.

There is an answer to this problem and it is in the way you have your visitors perceive your freebies.  You just have to make them more attractive to your audience.

How?  Well here are 8 different ways you can accomplish that

  • Put a value on your freebies. Let your viewer know that what they are getting is worth something.
  • Don’t give away just one thing but several.  If they subscribe you could be letting them know that there are several bonus items they could be getting. Make sure to name them and the benefits of having them.
  • Put a limited time offer on your freebie.  Scarcity seems to spur people on. They just don’t want to miss out on anything that could be good for them.
  • Another way to use scarcity is to put a limit on the number of people who can get it for free.
  • When giving a freebie, we don’t generally elaborate on the benefits or features of the item.  Be different and tell people what they would gain by having your free offer.
  • Use great copywriting to describe your freebie.  Too often we see “get this free report by signing up here”.  Why not say something like,  “this never released top secret report”. Get the idea?
  • What about testimonials for your freebies?  Third party endorsements carry much more weight than you telling people that your freebie is really great and that they should get it.
  • A last but really great tactic is telling people how many people have already received your freebie.  The bigger the number, the more the perceived value as people will think they are missing out on something really great if they don’t get it.  But don’t lie!

Being creative about offering a higher perceived value to your freebies can only increase what you really want the most of, and that is traffic optins into your list.

“Digg”-ing For Leads..

Written by Marie on Apr 2nd, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation, Training

If you bookmark your content, then you may be using Digg as one of your tools.

Digg is a social site considered a bookmarking site.  Although there are tons of these sites, Digg is quickly gaining attention and can bring you a lot of attention if you do it right.

We know that bookmarking sites are there for you to share your favorites with a community and of course your content also makes a contribution to this.

It should be newsworthy type news and not junk, of course.

If content you share on DIgg gets “dug”, this canl give you much more traffic to your site.  But that is really not, or should not, be your goal when using Digg bookmarking.

The main goal of Digg should be to help you come up on the search engines.  You can use it to promote events, newsworthy content that you may have on Squidoo or Hugpages, NOT A LEAD Capture Page.

It has to be value oriented.

Let’s say you create an e-book called, “The No No’s of Social Bookmarking”.  Once your book is ready to promote, then a really good way to do this, is to write an article, create a Hugpage and create a Squidoo lense about it.  Linking to each other and bookmarking the article, the lense and the hub will give you instant backlinks.

Then you DIGG your article and shout it to your friends.  I have found that friends on DIgg are much more loyal and interactive than other bookmarking sites.

So don’t be shy to ask other Diggers to become friends with you.  Remember that all you have to click on the person’s picture and click on the “friend” link and then go see that person’s friends and go ahead and add some of their friends too.

The wider the friend base, the wider you can spread your knowledge and the more you will be considered as someone that gives value and not someone out just for themself.

If you really want to learn all there is to learn about social bookmarking, there is really outstanding bookmarking training available.

Legitimately Sneaking Past Lead Generation

Written by Marie on Mar 30th, 2009 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation, Training

Without leads, you’re dead in the water.

That’s why you are asking for referrals from clients as well as others who have no interest in your product.

But you hate it?  So do I!

That’s why using a proven system that will generate leads that come to me really makes my day.

If you intend to build a business based on residual income, there’s no getting away from it.

A system is not shy. A system doesn’t sleep.  A system pushes beyond human failings. A system has no comfort zone. I like that one.

I grant you some people can do network marketing the old way and make it look easy. And yes you can learn how to do network marketing that way too because it is skill that will help you to succeed.

But there is a time and place where you can apply the skill you need and that’s to connect with your prospects once they are already in the pipeline.

If you really want your business to grow and hate the traditional methods and know that there is a better way, then using a proven system is a must.

However your system must also grow.  If the one you are using or looking to follow does not keep up with the times then consider switching to one that does.

That’s what I like with my system.  It is constantly changing and growing, teaching me new tactics to be more web worthy and to grow my business with integrity and steadiness.

It’s great to have the desire, but the desire fueled by a step by step system to teach you the right way is dynamite.

Using The Right Words While Prospecting..

Written by Marie on Oct 15th, 2008 | Filed under: All Posts, Lead Generation

Facing new people as a network marketer can be sometimes daunting, especially when you’re prospecting.

You might be wondering what to say to spark in your prospect that desire to want to hear more from you.  But first of all, you need to make the appointment before you can pitch your story.

When meeting a business owner, that appointment can be a little harder to get and there are certainly some words you need to avoid or you will turn your contact off completely.

So this post will deal with a few words that we normally use when presenting our opportunity that basically should be replaced by other words that won’t evoke the same emotional response from your prospect.

During these unsure financial times, the very word “Business” is not a good word to use in an approach.

Why?

Well, the business owner already owns a business that may be struggling.  They may have current employee problems to solve and also my have a huge overhead to deal with while still trying to pay the bills.  The very last thing they want to hear about is anything to do with another “business”.

We promote teamwork and have support to back it up.

So, instead of using “business”, think of replacing it with “additional income“.  Additional income does not bring up a negative emotional response, in fact it brings hope of more money flowing in the future.

Another word that is often used and brings on negative emotion is “membership”.  Becoming a member of what?  Choose a word most people can relate to such as “opening an account“.  We open accounts at the bank or at a store.  It’s a normal procedure of everyday life and more acceptable.

One very scary word to many is “autoship”.  First of all, it takes a lot of explaining and people see their dollars flying away automacally without having any control over the outcome.

Now doesn’t “convenience program” make it sound more inviting?

Here are some pointers you might use when trying to get an appointment with a business owner.  Remember, at this point, you’re just after the appointment, nothing else.

  1. Connect with the person who is responsible for the business, not an employee
  2. Compliment them on their store, or products or whatever
  3. Ask questions that relate to the store’s purpose but don’t get nosy

Then say something like this:

“I believe we have a great opportunity here for us to collaborate together and increase the value to your current clients as well as increase your bottom line.  Would you be open to hearing how you can do just that?”

Book your appointment and remember to make sure to tell them that you will need a half hour of their time, uninterrupted.

If they ask you what it’s all about, here’s a good reply: “I’m a professional business planner looking to help you increase your value to your clients.”

So, VOILA, there you have it, a quick how to do, to get an interview with a business owner you never met before.

It’s with excellent training and easy tips like these that you will grow your income because your team will learn terms that invite rather than scare a prospect away.
