We always want to have new customers visiting our site and of course, look to recurring customers to come back. But often we run out of ways to attract these customers.

Here are 5 ways to set your attraction marketing train on the right track:

Do you have an information product you can give away? Maybe you produced one or have one that you have give away rights to. If it is the latter, however, you do take the chance that your customer will end up on the site of the person who wrote it, but it’s always a good tactic to take anyways. Make sure that the information relates to your target market and ad your 2 cents to a page that would be accompanying the e-book at download time.

Are you able to coach or consult on a specific area that you are knowledgeable in? What better time than to offer a free consultation via email. Yes you could do it live, but think about the time that would take versus doing it by email. This can also be free advertising for you as you will include your signature file in each email.

Have some information you can impart about a specific subject? Hold a free chat room seminar using Skype or other voip program to connect everyone. Make sure your topic is very targeted and keep to the subject. A good tip is to present a marketing tip not too many people are aware of. ie: How to create free links to your profiles in Hubpages and Squidoo. Send a press release to the media to get customers for your seminar.

Have something special for customers if they join your club. Make it free and offer your customers a little something special for belonging. People love to belong to something bigger than themselves. A newsletter and a periodic free give-away at times are a good example.

People also love deals. That’s why providing your product or service for almost free by accepting barter for your products or services is a great way to keep people interested and coming back. Who knows, the next time around, they might just buy from you. You can barter for things such as self-improvement products or information to better your business.

As you can see, there are countless ways you can attract customers to your site and keep them there.

So if I were to take my own advice, here is a free e-book download on Creating Recurring Income

I’ve learned that the best way to work with prospects is to take the consultative approach.

You must provide value way before you can pitch your business opportunity. The old way of selling your opportunity is the old way of network marketing. That model comes from a very selfish mindset, even if the belief help by the prospector is one of wanting to help people.

People hate being sold to but they love buying. ONLY if it’s their idea!

The key is to assist the person in any way you can. But for you to provide value you must have learned how to do this in the first place.

You must never stop learning so that you can be ahead of the masses. This will translate into something that you can teach and bring value to your prospect.

You share your experience with your prospect and continue to move forward all the time.

Set your business opportunity up so that your prospect will be the one to mention it first. While connecting with the person and getting to know them, you will be able to continue adding value and the prospect will be more open to hearing about your opportunity.

Look at it this way. You want to get to the point where they will be calling you and coming to you.

So providing value first is the key that will make your prospects come running and the building of a list of quality leads prepared to come on board will explode.

Learning is not hard but it takes time and yes money. But if you’re not ready to invest in yourself, your success will be very shortlived.

Getting the necessary training with someone that will teach you simply but effecitvely how to market yourself can be life changing.

Before you can attract prospects, it’s always a good idea to know what types of prospects there are in the first place.

Basically you will meet 4 types:

Those that are motivated by money. This type of personality knows that network marketing can be a really good place to make money. They’re not interested in earning just a couple of extra bucks a month. Rather, they are looking to make the biggest amount they can. In order to attract these types, focus on the compensation plan and its benefits. Talk about fulfilling dreams.

Those that like to have fun. This type of personality is the social butterfly. They love to meet new people, love the idea of network marketing as a business model, love the events and the energy of success. As long as the process if fun, they will stay for the long run. To attract this type, talk about how the events will motivate and energize them. Talk about the high profile leaders they will get a chance to meet. Pick one leader who has really focused on making their business a lot of fun.

Those that are motivated by knowledge based in facts. This type of personality is an analyzer and a thinker. The more factual data you can provide them with, the better. For example, if your product has studies that prove the results are true, you will see these prospects just gobble it up. Therefore, having a lot of factual data resources is an ideal bait for this type.

Those that need a great cause to motivate them. Why? Because this personality type wants to help others whether by helping them make more money, get healthier or better themselves in some way. As long as your product addresses that need in your prospect, you will see them easily join your opportunity.

So developing great content based on the type of personality you want to attract is just great marketing. When you know what need to fill, the rest is easy.

Ok, so you have a vision. You’ve set goals. You’ve made a business plan. Now what?

You have to take action and stay committed to your goals. “But” you say, “how do I stay motivated?”

It goes like this. All of it stems from your vision. Don’t get vision confused with goals. They are 2 different things.

Your vision is where you want to go vs your goals which can be short term or long term.

Goals will help you get to your vision.

Now you may have a short term goal, let’s say you want to lose 5 pounds. Once you’ve reached it, that goal is done. That is short term. You feel the satisfaction of having accomplished this task.

Reaching your vision is really made up of a lot of short term goals along the way.

But you can’t get there only doing short-term goals, you also need long term goals.

They are directly linked to your vision so that your vision will be what will spur you on and inspire you, excite you to keep on going.

Self Motivation stems from your vision and can have external factors, meaning outside of yourself such as what happens to your life naturally: taking lessons, reading inspirational writings, seeing others succeed etc.

Self motivation must also have internal factors which ensure your vision motives will be so strong as to take you through the hard times. Times when everything you’re doing doesn’t seem to get you anywhere.

Maybe you need to re-evaluate the method you are using or maybe it’s just a question of timing. Sitting down and really meditating over this will give you a clue either way.

What keeps me motivated is my faith that what I am working at will give me the results I am after. I am focused on “abundance” not “lack”.

I see the finished vision and what I do daily are the steps I need to take to get me there.

In the mean time, I set goals that will get me closer to my vision and once I’ve reached those goals, I set new ones.

Setting daily goals is easy and each little step shows the Universe that I am serious about what I am doing and where I want to go.

It’s hard for many people to believe that the Universe is only waiting for us to ask for what we want before IT gives us exactly what we want.

You’ve heard “beware of what you want, or you might just get it”. Well this stands especially true with a vision that is based in helping others be the most that they can be.

It seems that the Universe is just tripping over itself when it comes to helping you help others gets what they want.

So staying motivated for me is not difficult. I read inspiring works, I do daily affirmations, set short and long term goals and keep my vision alive while giving thanks with a grateful heart for all that I have already.

I also work with like minded people who support my belief system. These people are positive thinkers who empower me.

Are those the kind of people you have around you? Are they the kind of people your networking business is filled with? If not, then you must consider changing your environment or the wrong people around you can eventually bring you down to their level and you will only experience dissatisfaction and little success.

Do these words resonate well with you? Finding like minded people is really not that hard because who you are is really who you will attract. The Law of Attraction makes it so!
