Getting A Handle On Time Freedom..
How many of you are finding it hard to schedule your time?
I’m sure that one of the main reasons you decided to get iinto network marketing as a business was to achieve more free time to do what you love.
That could be easier to say than to do because we often feel overwhelmed by all that we have to learn on top of trying to make a living in other ways and spending time with family and friends.
So the first thing you do is see how you can structure your time to identify where it goes on a daily basis.
A really good tool I found to do that is here at Studygs.net. It allows you to plug your hours in broken down by all the categories a normal life would expose you to.
It starts by first identifying how 24 hours of your day is spent. How many hours in classes, working, family outings, personal care, meal prep and cleanup and much more.
But don’t put in there the time you do network marketing.
By first doing this exercise you can identify the true time you have left over to do your network marketing business. You may be surprised to see that you have more time for your business than you thought or you might see that your network marketing business is stealing away time from another important category such as quality family time.
Repeat the daily exercise for every day of the week so that you now have 7 full days done. Now add in the time you will be doing your network marketing business each day.
Next, set out your priorities but don’t forget to leave some time for unexpected things that could happen in your day for exceptions, such as a call that takes too long, or a traffic jam etc.
At this point you are ready to put all of your time activities on a calendar. Some people like to use a calendar on their computer. A really good resource is Gengook.com. It’s a free tool that you can use to block out the time you know is for specific events and also to email to prospects so they can book an appointment with you online even if you’re not there to confirm it.
I do use Gengook for online clients but I prefer to use a desk top calendar for the whole month. The bigger the squares the better. I then mark out, using different colored pens, the time I do followups, have clients, meetings, appointments, events and personal time.
At a glance I can see what is planned for that whole month. It is a real time saver and keeps me focused and on track.
I also found that when I started implementing what I learned in Renegade University that my time started to have more stucture and results. You need to check it out and see if it can help you too.
