But I Don’t Have Time Or The Money..

If you’re in network marketing you will be encountering objections and questions.  That’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Think about it. It really means that the prospect is thinking about what you are saying rather than rejecting what you have to offer right from the start.

This is the perfect cue for you to sit back, take your time and think about what the prospect is really saying.

If the person is saying that it’s about the money, you could respond by asking them to tell you more about that aspect of their concern.

Learn about them, their family and their expectations.  Maybe the person is telling you that all of their money is tied up and they live from paycheque to paycheque so how could they afford your product or opportunity?

At this point you can actually shift the focus back on them and say that with your program or company it can actually increase their earnings so that they will have extra money to spend on the things they have not been buying because they just don’t have any now.

It they are telling you that they are too busy and just don’t have the time, by having done your part exceptionally well, you will know about them and their life.  Maybe the person is working so hard that they don’t see their family enough.

Wouldn’t time freedom be an interesting concept for you to explain to them?

Again, shift the focus on them and let them know that just a few hours a week could lead to them eventually finding all the time they need if they no longer have to work at their present job because their part time job is paying them more than their daily job.

A good tactic would be to educate them on what leverage is all about. Most people haven’t a clue about network marketing and what  it entails.  A lot of people think it’s just another pyramid scheme, not realizing that the whole of our business world is run by that model.

Its up to you to show them the possibilities network marketing can bring to a person’s life, like residual income and time freedom.

Show them that 2 hours at their real job will not pay them the same way as 2 hours by all the people in their downline.  You cannot expect to get rich when you exchange time for money, but when you exchange the time of thousands of people for money, you will be fast on your way to becoming rich.

So questions and objections are a good thing to encounter. It gives you experience in being able to deal with them in a smart and effective way and it educates your prospect as to the real objectives a network marketer lives to achieve.

You can learn a great deal when you have great training.

  1. Great article!

The old school network marketing approach is still being taught in almost every network marketing company out there. The bad news is that they don’t know any better. The good news is that anyone attraction can learn attraction marketing. It just takes some training and good advise.

Keep pushing out the good content.
